AUGUST 12 2018

An easy shortcut to having good experiences is spending time with the right people. We didn't really know where we'd be going, but knew we wanted to be outside.

A stranger told us about a campsite down a windy dirt road. It was secluded and a quiet creek ran next to it. The weather was hot but the evening and morning were perfect.

At night we gazed at the stars and saw Mars, Venus, a shooting star, a couple satellites and the ISS.

The next day we drove up the river and fished with our tenkara rods. Dan caught 2, we caught none.

A night and day in nature and we returned feeling refreshed.
