An easy shortcut to having good experiences is spending time with the right people. We didn’t really know where we’d be going, but knew we wanted to be outside.
A stranger told us about a campsite down a windy dirt road. It was secluded and a quiet creek ran next to it. The weather was hot but the evening and morning were perfect.
At night we gazed at the stars and saw Mars, Venus, a shooting star, a couple satellites and the ISS.
The next day we drove up the river and fished with our tenkara rods. Dan caught 2, we caught none.
A night and day in nature and we returned feeling refreshed.
